In connection with this service we can do the following:
Many bookkeepers can provide a similar service for less money. Some people, however, are at that level of income where they either have more than one business or need to handle ongoing legal and/or financial matters. Many firms bill on a percentage of your income. For example, some firms will charge 5 to 10 percent of your gross income as their fee for this service. We bill for this service strictly on an hourly basis. We refrain from billing at a fixed fee or fixed amount arrangement because we believe with both of these arrangements, one party, either the manager or the client, gets either less for their money or spends more time than they get paid for. We believe that your level of income does bear a corresponding relationship to the amount of time required to service your account. In fact, we have found that the lower income clients sometimes require more time and headache than the higher income clients. We believe it is not fair to charge a client a fixed amount during one particular month even though a minimal amount of work is required. Conversely, it is unfair to us if your account requires more time than we are getting paid for. |
